Angie Jones

Angie Jones was born and raised in Horry County and is a graduate of Aynor High School. She possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Masters of Business Administration (MBA), and a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA).

She began her service in the Horry County Treasurer’s office in August of 2001 as a Revenue Collector in the Business License Hospitality Fee division. Then, in January of 2005 Angie was promoted to Manager of the Business License Hospitality Fee division. In July 2005 Angie was promoted to Deputy Treasurer and served in that position for 11 years.

She formerly served as an Adjunct Professor at National American and Webster Universities, where she taught management, leadership, and finance classes through their MBA program

She won the primary election on June 14, 2016 and was officially elected Horry County Treasurer on November 8, 2016. On July 3, 2017 Angie Jones was sworn in and assumed duties as your Horry County Treasurer. She was sworn in for her second term July 1, 2021. 

Angie has always had a passion for real estate so she made the decision to attend Fortune Academy of Real Estate in May of 2021. She completed the course and passed the National and State exam in June 2021. She joined the Shoreline team in September 2021.
